New Kitchen Floor

In our kitchen, we had two layers of linoleum removed and the pine floors refinished. While the work was being done, we enjoyed five days of eating out and using an old mini-fridge for my milk and orange juice. Then we got a new refridgerator that's actually in the kitchen instead of around the corner!

Centerfest on September 21

At an arts festival called Centerfest in downtown Durham, we ate Italian ice, made a rain stick, listened to music, visited with friends, and - best of all - rode on a little fire truck.
