Yesterday, Gramma's side of the family gathered for a post-Christmas party. Mom's cousin Kevin hosted the party with his wife Lisa (above) and their kids Jake and Olivia. Aunt JZ, Unlce Tom, Aunt Geri, Amy, Andy, Julie, and Sophie were also there.

Gramma and Grampa gave Jake a cool snowboarding hat. Since Grampa snowboards, he knows all the right gear to get.

Mom's cousin Julie was there with her 20 month old daughter, Sophie. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun at future family gatherings.

Everyone at the party had a great time. Here I am with my Mommy's Aunt Geri (she is also Sophie's Gramma).

Olivia was very nice to me, even if I sometimes squirmed when she held me.

Earlier in the day, we opened gifts at Rome and Ken's house. Gramma liked the shirts Mommy picked out for her.

Grampa and I enjoy watching everyone open their gifts.

I show calm indifference, but I feel great joy about my new CD from They Might Be Giants.

I enjoyed all the interesting presents. These booties were from Gramma and Grampa.

Today was a big day. I met some more of my Mom's side of the family in Michigan. Here I am with my great grandmother, Gramma Rome! I also met her husband Ken, and Mom's Aunt Juli and Uncle Joel.

Earlier we met with some friends of ours from California in a grocery store in Springboro, Ohio. Although it sounds strange, Dorothy Lane Market actually was a great place to spend a couple of hours visiting. We had a coffee, a nice lunch and some killer brownies. Here I am with Mommy and Jenny & little Sophia.

Finally, here I am with Dad, Dan and Sophia.

Christmas Day 2005

I start the day with a few moments of silent meditation.

I had a lot of fun staying with Grandmommy and Pop-Pop. 

Christmas Eve 2005

Christmas Eve was the biggest family gathering I have ever been to, almost all of Dad's side of the family was present. Only Aunt Barbara and Uncle Doug were away, luckily I get to see them frequently as they live near me in Pennsylvania. 

Christmas Eve and the Bengals, a great combination... until they gave up 10 points in the last 2 minutes of the game and lost. 

The adults seemed to enjoy watching us unwrap our presents. 

Porter was very intent on playing with his new gifts. 

The table was lovely, but I slept in a hallway while the grown-ups enjoyed dinner. 

I made a zelig-like apparence in the picture of Uncle Anthony and Antonio. 

As a nice napping baby, I was very popular. 

Aunt Kathy and Uncle Curt were great hosts and seemed to have a good time as well. 

Aunt Margy and Antonio check out some cool bracelets. 

I needed several naps to deal with all the commotion.
