Pullen Park

Yesterday we went to Pullen Park near the NC State campus in Raleigh. We rode a train (that one in the picture) and a carousel, walked through an old caboose, played on the playground, ate a picnic lunch, and then made a scarecrow at the arts center. It was great fun and we would recommend this park to anyone in the area - and we look forward to bringing our friends and relatives when they come to visit!

I spent most of the time running circles around everybody!

Some other nice scarecrows - unlike at Morris Arboretum, they kept all the scarecrows instead of letting everyone bring them home!

We're on our way to Trinity Park for some fun before trick-or-treating.

One of the moms read a Halloween story to everyone... but I was running too fast to hear it!

All the families made a parade around the park, and then I checked my flashlight and we were ready to go trick-or-treating!
