New House Progress

The painting started today on our new house. Jeff and Cyrus spent part of the day there. Cyrus took a long nap in his comfy chair in the empty family room, with a babysitter watching over him, while Jeff tackled the basement clean-up. Cyrus calls it "Barkley's house" after the previous owners' dog, and he seems to like it. We're excited to move in soon!

Carrots

A few days ago, Cyrus was hanging around the kitchen while we finished getting dinner ready. I offered him a carrot stick and he ate it, and then he ate about five more! It's been quite awhile since he last ate raw veggies. We'll see if he keeps it up...

Birthday Party at Pullen Park

We played with balloons and used squirt bottles and water guns to keep us cool as the day warmed up.

Swimming Pool!

We've been going to the swimming pool most days in the late afternoon. I love to stand on the "sidewalk" ledge like in this picture, and then jump out to Mommy or Dad. I can jump off the side too. Sometimes I go all the way underwater!
