Fun at Barbara and Douglas' House

4th of July in Philadelphia!

We visited Aunt Barbara and Uncle Douglas for the 4th of July. I really liked the dog statue.

We had a great time exploring Aunt Barbara and Uncle Douglas' neighborhood 

They told me this a monument to Harrison, but I'm not sure since he's still alive and well.

Tori and Jamie Visit

Tori and Jamie came by for a visit all the way from South Carolina. Jamie and I played peek a boo and watched Mondo's antics. 

Jamie was impressed with my green soccer ball! 

My visit to Ocean City, NJ

Today, we went for a quick trip to Ocean City. When we first arrived, I wasn't sure what to make of all the new sights and sounds. 

We went for a nice walk on the boardwalk. There was lots to see, even some crazy pedal powered cars called surreys. I clapped when I saw them. 

My first time on the beach! 

Dad and I enjoyed hanging out in the shade of our beach umbrella.

The ocean was pretty, but full of big waves. So Mommy and I played in a little pool.

I let out a nice scream the first time Mommy and Dad put me in the pool, but it was fun once they realized the ocean water (62 degrees) filled pool, needed to warm up in the sun for a bit.

I think I love the beach!

After the beach, we went to visit cousin Jack. His house is on the bay side of Ocean City, the view from his porch is really nice...

...but I preferred to take a break inside on the couch and dream about my first beach trip.

You can tell I was going to need a bath after this nap!
