MerleFest '08

On Sunday, we went to MerleFest in Wilkesboro, NC. We had a great time listening to all the music and enjoying the fun activities. I loved the sand sculpture. We tried to rest at some point, but the music was too loud.

There was a singing possum at the children's stage!

Apples are a great snack at an outdoor music festival!

We loved the traditional bluegrass music. That's Doc Watson on the center left.

I'm still trying understand the moon bounce.

Great food! Corn dog for me, Dad had BBQ, and Mom had grilled chicken! We all shared roasted corn on the cob!

There was a neat puppet show.

I love steak!
